About COTT
Where nature’s grace meets timeless elegance.
Welcome to COTT — where nature’s grace meets timeless elegance, and where plants become more than just living things.
Inspired by the image of a cheetah poised gracefully in a tree — wild yet still, powerful yet at peace — COTT embodies the harmony between untamed natural beauty and serene sophistication. We are not simply a brand; we are a sanctuary for all things green — a place where human life and plant life are not separate, but deeply, harmoniously connected.
At COTT, we are cultivating more than just plants. We are cultivating a lifestyle — one that is beautiful, intentional, and profoundly connected to the living world.
But COTT is also something more.
Founded by an agronomy student at the University of Bonn, Germany, COTT is an experimental, knowledge-driven brand built on a deep academic understanding of agriculture, plant systems, and ecological values. Every project begins as a question:
What if a plant could hold memory? What if design could grow? What if nature itself could tell stories?
COTT explores the intersection of science, sustainability, and storytelling — reimagining how plants can become part of our identities, rituals, and emotional spaces. We blend field-based cultivation with academic research and aesthetic design to create offerings that go beyond trends or transactions.
Here, plants are not just decorative — they are living mediums for meaning, memory, and material life.
As we grow, so do our questions. This is not just about selling plants. This is about rethinking our relationship with nature — and perhaps, with ourselves.
Founder’s Story
Minju Lee is the founder of COTT and currently studies Agriculture at the University of Bonn, Germany.
From an early age, Minju dreamed of building his own business — one that reflects authenticity, creativity, and a sense of purpose. He initially pursued a career at a naval academy in South Korea, but soon realized that his true fulfillment lay not in a regimented path, but in continuous exploration, personal growth, and creative challenge. Choosing to leave the academy, he redirected his journey toward what he had always loved: plants, nature, and the living systems that surround us.
This led him to Germany, where he immersed himself in the academic study of agriculture and began shaping what would become COTT — a brand that merges scientific understanding with emotional depth and aesthetic vision.
Today, Minju continues to grow COTT through experimentation and persistence, shaping it into a purpose-driven brand that redefines how we relate to plants, to nature, and ultimately, to ourselves.
